This Privacy Policy explains how the Scripture Trove app and its websites scripturetrove.com and baibaoshu.net (together, the “Service”) collect, use, and protect your information. The Service is provided by the Scripture Trove team for Bible study, reading, and discipleship. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your email address, and (if you sign in with Apple or Google) the name and email associated with that account; your chosen nickname.
• Learning data — quiz answers and scores, reading and study progress, bookmarks, highlights, and personal notes you create.
• Community data — the church or small group you belong to, team membership relationships, and prayer requests you choose to submit.
• AI conversation content — the messages you send to the in-app AI study assistant (“Pastor Bond”).
• Push notification token — if you enable notifications, a device token used only to deliver notifications to your device.
• Usage and technical data — app and page interactions, approximate access logs, IP address, device and browser type, used for security and to improve the Service.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, health, or financial information, and the Service contains no advertising.

2. How we use your information

• Provide, personalise, and improve the Service’s features;
• Maintain your account and (if applicable) your church/group and team;
• Record your learning progress and achievements across your devices;
• Deliver the AI study-assistant responses you request;
• Send notifications you have opted into (e.g. reading reminders);
• Keep the Service secure and prevent abuse; comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-party services (processors)

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the Service. They process data only on our behalf:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and secure storage of your account and learning data.
• Anthropic (Claude) — processes the messages you send to the AI study assistant to generate replies. Do not include sensitive personal information in AI conversations.
• Apple & Google — used only if you choose “Sign in with Apple” or “Sign in with Google”.
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — delivers push notifications to your device.
• Vercel — application hosting and privacy-friendly, aggregate usage analytics.
• Google Analytics — aggregate usage statistics, where enabled, to help us understand and improve the Service.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

4. Push notifications

Notifications are optional. If you enable them, we store a device token solely to deliver them. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device’s Settings, which stops all further notifications.

5. When we share information

We only share your information: (a) with the administrator/leader of a church or small group you have joined, and only the data relevant to that team (e.g. participation and prayer items); (b) when required by law or valid legal process; or (c) to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, your associated data is permanently deleted (see Section 7). Backups and legally required records may persist for a limited period before being erased.

7. Your rights and choices

• Access & correction — view and update your profile and learning data in the app.
• Export — you can export your AI conversation history from within the app.
• Delete your account — in the app, open the Account page and choose Delete Account (注销账户). This permanently and irreversibly deletes your account and associated data (quiz records, bookmarks, prayer items, team relationships, etc.). If you are a team captain, transfer that role first.
• Withdraw consent — stop using the Service and/or delete your account at any time.

You may also contact us (Section 11) to exercise any of these rights.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International data transfers

Our providers may process and store data on servers in various countries. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on our providers’ appropriate safeguards to protect it.

10. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and enable offline reading. You can manage cookies through your browser or device settings; disabling them may affect some features.

3. 第三方服务（数据处理方）

我们使用少数受信任的服务商来运行本服务，它们仅代表我们处理数据：

在您的账户处于活跃状态、或为提供服务所需的期间内，我们会保留您的信息。当您注销账户时，关联数据将被永久删除（见第 7 节）。备份及法律要求保留的记录可能在被清除前保留有限期限。

7. 您的权利与选择

• 访问与更正 —— 在 App 内查看并更新您的资料与学习数据。
• 导出 —— 您可在 App 内导出 AI 对话历史。
• 注销账户 —— 在 App 内打开「账户」页，选择「注销账户」。此操作将永久且不可恢复地删除您的账户及关联数据（答题记录、收藏、代祷、团队关系等）。若您是团队队长，请先转让队长身份。
• 撤回同意 —— 您可随时停止使用本服务并/或注销账户。

您也可以通过第 11 节的方式联系我们行使上述权利。

8. 儿童隐私

本服务面向一般受众，并非面向 13 岁以下儿童。我们不会有意收集 13 岁以下儿童的个人信息。若您认为有儿童向我们提供了个人信息，请联系我们，我们将予以删除。

9. 数据的跨境传输

我们的服务商可能在不同国家的服务器上处理与存储数据。在数据跨境传输时，我们依赖服务商的适当保障措施来保护数据。
